Jakarta BPBD Executing Unit Head, Isnawan Adji said the book was made to be a reference in providing psychosocial support services for the government, society, and stakeholders.
Thus, psychosocial support services can be a solution to prevent psychological disorders for people affected by disasters.

Based on the mandate of Law Number 24/2007 on Disaster Management, services are provided to address the psychological impact of disaster-affected communities by providing psychosocial assistance.
Jakarta BPBD's Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Head, M. Ridwan added he said his party was working with various agencies such as National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB), Health Ministry, and Social Ministry.
"The making of this book took almost a year from review to print," he explained.
He explained the book could be read in other areas outside Jakarta by adjusting to local wisdom in each region.
"It can be read by all regions, but must be adapted to local wisdom," he explained.
In the same place, Representative from Social Ministry, Milly Mildawati appreciated the launch of this book. The book is deemed capable of increasing public literacy, especially in psychosocial.
"It provides a wide opportunity as well. There are even quite detailed examples," he stated.
